Discussion:
I installed Tomcat for the first time. When I start it, it hangs?

I try to start Tomcat and an extra window appears with no errors. The
extra window, I have also ran it in the same window to check for
errors, gets to the line:

INFO: Server startup in xxxx ms

Then it does nothing. It just hangs?

Since I am a newbie, this has to be something simple. Any help would
greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary

It's not hanging, it's waiting for requests. If no requests come, it will
keep waiting until you shut it down.
You do know what Tomcat is and what it does, do you?
